About "Amazing Grace - Lent"
Online & In-Person
Every Sunday at 9:30 AM
In honor of the 250th anniversary of the writing of “Amazing Grace,” this worship series for Lent by theologian Michael Hoy ties the words of the beloved song to our lives today as Christ’s disciples. Those in the Bible who experienced the amazing grace of God help us each week to realize that though we once were lost in sin, we now have been found by Jesus, and though we once were blind to God’s mercy, we now can see his love at work in us through our Savior’s death and resurrection.
Midweek - "Visions of Lent"
Online Only at 7:00 PM
This Lenten series is based on Luke 22:14 where Christ expresses his earnest desire to share in the Passover meal with his disciples. We will take the six objects which are part of the Passover meal and reflect upon the meaning of these objects – for the disciples (the traditional Jewish interpretation), for Jesus (in light of his foreseeable death) and for Christians today. Our Midweek services will begin on Wednesday, March 1 at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom
