St. Mark's Lutheran Church is hiring an Office Adminstrator

Weekly Hours:

20 hours per week; schedule to be determined. Typically, the Office Administrator works from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday through Thursday.

Benefits:

Eleven paid holidays annually; sick and vacation leave accrued based upon permanent part-time status.

Salary:

Starting Salary: $13.00 to $15.00 per hour depending upon experience.

Reports to and is supervised by:

Pastor(s) with appropriate oversight from the congregation.

Supervises:

Volunteers, church members and non-members such as Manna Food Pantry volunteers.

Function:

This position is a detail-oriented position paired with a ministry of hospitality. It is clerical in nature with a facility management component and an administrative coordination component. This employee serves as the first contact for members and visitors at St. Mark's.

The Office Administrator supports the congregation and its ministries effectively with courtesy, tact and compassion. He/she also serves as the contact for community groups seeking to use facilities at St. Mark's and supports congregational ministry and activity by coordinating facilities uses and resource management.

Evaluation:

This position is evaluated annually by the Pastor and others as appropriate following the evaluation policy and procedures with direction from the Congregation Council and Personnel Committee.
